We are on Valetine cruise halong bay 2 day, that was wonderful trip. my wife really enjoy it. the cruise so beautiful decorated with wooden funitures at asian reflection of Arts. 2 day cruise bring us so good fresh air and blue water from halong bay. below is our Program whtich we take it from local tour operator asiana Travel Mate which is very good one in Vietnam now. we do recommend people to contact them for your local tour organizer. It is worth of your money!
Just returned from the Valentine and it was great. A couple had a 6 month baby on board with no trouble in their cabin. there is one room that is bigger but the cabin we had would have fitted a 2 persons. Only 5 berths on the Valentine and the staff are great with kids.

A very nice trip is in a very nice place. The crews are lovely, always helpful. One suggestion though, it could be good to distribute a planning of the activities or to show it on a board. So we can easily know what time the next activities are. Thank you very much. I will vote for Ha Long Bay on internet, definitely the best place to see in Vietnam

I had a funny short trip – Halong bay on boat with your company. I send thankfulness to all your staffs. They served me with enthusiasm but your connection (Ex: car with guide, guide with boat…) have a bit late. Over all i feel happy whole time of the tour.

9 Ha Long Guides
Like other coastal areas of North Vietnam, Halong has a wide variety of seafood specialties. The most popular are:
It is situated on the south-west side the bay, 4 km from the wharf outside of Halong City. The way to Thien Cung is a perilous one, covered on both sides by thick forest. After entering a narrow gate, the grotto’s 130-meter-long girth opens up. Getting in we are astonished by the very animated and splendid beauty which is made from stalactite. On the east wall of the grotto, there is a grandiose and imposing picture with characters of heroic tales.
The grotto is on Driftwood Island. Seen from afar, the entrance to the grotto appears to be blue, and has a shape similar to that of a jellyfish. After 90 steps up the island, the entrance is reached. The ceiling of the grotto is about 25 m high. Hundreds of stalactites falling down from the roof of the grotto look like a waterfall.
The Yen Ngua or Saddle Islet lies in Halong Bay, in the centre of the World Heritage Area.
In the Ngoc Vung - Quan Lan islands itinerary, one will visit Cong Tay Island, which lies at the Bai Tu Long Bay, 40 km away from the Bai Chay Tourist Wharf. From Cam Pha, express boats will take you 30 minutes or 90 minutes by common boats to reach Cong Tay Island.
Situated on the south-west side of Halong Bay, Ba Ham Lake is found on Dau Be Island (Calf Head Island) in Lan Ha Bay. This island is part of the range of islands at the farthest end of Halong Bay, bordering the immense zone Long Chau Sea.
Bai Chay is a large, beautiful, artificial beach, closed to the coast of Ha Long Bay. The 100-meter-wide-sandy beach spans over 500 m. Early in the morning or in late afternoon, thousands of people liven up the atmosphere here.
Every tourist needs at least one ticket to travel on the Bay.
- A ticket for Tour 1 is valid for Thien Cung and other caves (except Sung Sot Cave).
- A ticket for Tour 2 is valid for Sung Sot and other caves (except Thien Cung Grotto).
In the cold season (December, January, February and March) and on rainy and windy days, it is advisable to travel on large boats, which have enclosed compartments and roll less. In the stormy season (August, September and October), it is advisable to consult the tourist information centre before travelling to Hạ Long. Tourists should comply with any temporary travel restrictions on the bay to avoid dangers. Before paying for a tour, tourists should know what kind of boat the tourist company has hired for them.
